Who We Are
The Company was formed in September of 1968 to provide tank
maintenance & construction services for the Northeastern
United States. It was founded specifically to offer consistently
high quality work at the most economical prices. Corrosion Control
Corp maintains a 7,200 sq.ft. shop and office facility located
on about 9 acres of land constructed in 1976 in Pedricktown,
NJ. The Company is a Regional Tank Maintenance Company that offers
every service necessary, and is small enough to be at your doorstep
when you need help.
The majority of the company’s work has been with corrosion
protection through coatings and linings. However, the company
has become extremely diversified in its effort to continue to
meet customer’s requests for an all-inclusive contractor,
who can handle the many types of concerns for the storage tank
industry. We have operated as a subcontractor for new tanks,
doing concrete foundations, in ground piping, electrical work,
site improvements, and painting. We have also functioned as a
general contractor on several projects involving complete water
tank installations.
We have routinely worked for all of the major tank builders
such as Advance Tank, Caldwell Tank, CBI, Fisher Tank, Matrix,
RECO, and others. We will be happy to provide you with contacts
with these tank manufacturers (some of whom may have constructed
your tank(s)).
We conduct most of our work with our own employees, who are
actually on company payrolls, rather than with subcontractors.
By relying primarily on our own work force, we can better assure
that you receive the quality of workmanship and schedule that
you deserve. All personnel are highly trained, experienced, and
are provided with every necessary piece of equipment, including
large air compressors, welding machines, bulk blasting pots,
dust collectors, spray equipment, power staging, and safety equipment.
The Company remains active in the national trade organizations
that support this industry, such as The American Water Works
Association (AWWA), Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC)
and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). We
are also active in a number of local Rural Water Associations
in several states. Members of CCC also participated on AWWA Code
Committees to help re-write standard recommended painting specifications,
and they have directed NACE Seminars. In recent years, it was
one of the founders and charter members of the Tank Painting
Contractor’s Association
